Another U.S. Tax Season Comes To A Close

Today, October 15th, brings the close of another U.S. individual tax filing season closing out the 2013 tax year for many. Over the years, the US tax code has swelled in size as new legislation and changes to existing law continue to add to the complexity. The U.S. tax code is now estimated to be around 4 million words long…”four times the number of words in all of the Harry Potter books put together.”
