Position: Associate Planner


    Established fee-only cross-border wealth management firm seeks an Associate Planner for its Boynton Beach (Florida) office in the fashionable Compson Place/Renaissance Commons complex.  The Associate Planner will join a team of international professionals engaged in the development and implementation of complex financial plans for individuals and families.
    We seek a detail-oriented person with intermediate knowledge of MS Word and MS Excel, and strong business writing and analytical abilities.  Good typing skills are required.  An Associate Planner must be able to multitask, prioritize diverse responsibilities, and take direction from multiple individuals. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills to be able to interact with our clients in a professional and confident manner.  Experience in financial planning, banking, or insurance are a plus. Preference may be given to a candidate with Canadian French language fluency or Canada living experience.  US employment authorization is required.
    Candidate must have (or be pursuing) a bachelor’s degree in financial planning, accounting, finance, business, or economics.  Promotable to a salaried Staff Planner position after passing the Certified Financial Planner™ examination and gaining experience and knowledge in the field of cross-border financial planning.

    Wages and benefits
    This is a full-time hourly position.  Starting wages will be based upon experience and education. We offer benefits including a high deductible group health, plan plus a dental package for which employee premiums are fully paid, coupled with a Health Reimbursement Arrangement (HRA). A flexible spending account for healthcare and dependent care expenses is also offered, as is short-term disability, long-term disability, a 401(k) plan, 15 days of paid time off, nine holidays, tuition assistance and other paid educational assistance, and opportunities to share in the profits of the company.
